Keyboard works just as intended for my P51 ThinkPad. It's a perfect replacement for the previous 3-year old keyboard whose keys had stopped working (b, n, spacebar, left & right arrow). Installing the TrackPoint cable though was a little tricky. It took three attempts to finally get it right. That is, on the first two attempts, I thought the cable was attached correctly. But then after putting the bottom cover back on and restarting, the laptop wouldn't recognize the mouse. The key seemed to be setting the connector completely flat and lined-up before trying to slide it into its socket. I think my first two attempts were user error and don't indicate a fault with the keyboard, hence the 5 stars.
